We are exactly 1 hr and 1 min behind schedule. Leaving Fredonia
8:30 pm arrive in Oronogo, MO - must have snacks and potty break.
10:30 - Wal Mart pit stop in Springfield, MO
kids are all asleep...Yes!!! quiet in the car...Daddy dozed, Mommy drives...Daddy wakes up....
We are in St. Louis - oops missed a turn Tom Tom rerouted us "look kids it's the Arch"
we are outside of St. Louis - where are we? There are NO stations around....somewhere outside of St. Louis in Illinois - 3:50 a.m. Daddy starts driving
We fly through Illinois...right into Kentucky.....into Tennessee
made it thru Nashville...slight detour on I-40
12:00 Noon stopped to take a break around milemarker 350 in TN - visited an old General Store, had a Frappuccino at Starbuck's & looked at the latest trends in cellular service. Hit the road only to drive an avg of 5 mph due to an accident.
2:00 pm Sat 7th - checking into hotel in Knoxville for R & R. Pictures of the kids big day swimming to follow. We kind of blew thru the first part of our trip driving, so this was the big FUN thing to do SWIM!!
